Renegade Souls MC

Mistletoe and Outlaws: Novella

It doesn’t have to be December to enjoy those dirty outlaws and their festive down time with their families.  If you’ve waited for Hawk and Zara to have that talk … this is that book. Do you want to see Preacher being extra husband’y? This is that book.

Blurb:

For once those Renegade Souls boys and their old ladies are going to have a peaceful Christmas. Or so the plan goes.

Join Rider and Zara while they host the first Renegade Souls MC holiday party amid her pregnancy aches and Rider’s stress to rid his town of the bratva once and for all. All he wants is to make his girl happy with the help of family and some dirty shenanigans. Maybe this was the year she’d say yes to his proposal.

Preacher and Ruby are learning how to be parents while dealing with someone from Ruby’s past. Is it a seasonal time of goodwill and forgiveness? One thing’s for sure; Preacher is always what his festive angel needs.

Grinder discovers the hard way what it means to get on the wrong side of his explosive wife. There’s nothing quite like the holidays for love and a volatile temper as Luxe is more than happy to show her boy.

Hawk and Gia are awaiting the pitter patter of tiny sociopath feet. Is happiness about to be ripped out of his hands just when he’d finally got it? Christmas brings surprises to the VP’s household from unpredicted sources.

Who said Christmas time can’t be dirty?

This novella is intended as a catch-up for the first four couples so far featured in the Renegade Souls MC series and not a standalone. It’s meant to be read as an add-on and runs along the same timeline as Finally Winter.

Can you handle the outlaw festive mush?

Filthy Love – Soundtrack

It’s unheard of really for me to be that organized to put together a soundtrack for each book. I pretty much suck at it because I can listen to something peppy while I write a gruesome emotional scene. I don’t really need sensory stimulation to help me write a particular scene.

So, it came as a shock to know I’ve collected quite a few songs I played on repeat while writing Hawk and Gia’s entangled love story and I thought I’d share!

These were the ones I played on repeat as their story unfolded. I love the lyrics and feel they fit these two so much.

———-

My Sacrifice – Creed
Not Over You – Gavin Degraw
A Thousand Years – Christina Perri
You Ruin Me – The Veronicas
Dangerously – Charlie Puth
Irresistible – Fall Out Boy
Gravity – Sara Bareilles
Everything – Lifehouse
You and Me – Lifehouse
Only You – Alistair Griffin (Their dance song )

Tracking Luxe: Soundtrack

I still suck for writing with perfect soundtracks that match the book perfectly, but I’ve been mindful for book three, Tracking Luxe, to take more notice of songs as I write and note which ones fit with the characters and feel of the book. While I don’t have a full playlist, I did play three songs on repeat while I worked through my chapters and then with edits and thought I’d share with you again just as I did with Preacher Man.

Maroon 5 – Animals

Gloria Gaynor – I am what I am. (this features in the book )

Andy Grammer – Crazy Beautiful. ( this is Grinder’s song for Luxe )
